Jacobo Gonzo scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Ignacio Fernández kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Freixa. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Joshua Miralles got a free kick in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Long Feng Xing got free with Camilo Freixa in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 22 minutes, Mario Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Bolivia's Camilo Freixa got control of the ball when Ignacio Fernández tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eugeniusz Koczara's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugeniusz Koczara helped the player get up and apologised. Eugeniusz Koczara hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Mario Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Gonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Jacobo Gonzo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bolivia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Long Feng Xing ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Long Feng Xing almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bolivia's Camilo Freixa did a great save. After 47 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso de la Cruz. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacobo Gonzo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Fernández struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Camilo Freixa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plumerillo. 55 minutes into the match, Ignacio Fernández had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Fernández was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 59th minute, one of Bolivia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bolivia. The referee gave Plumerillo a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Long Feng Xing, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. 6-0. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Fernández, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Victor Deunoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plumerillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Deunoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso de la Cruz to maneuver through the defense. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ignacio Fernández who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolivia's Camilo Freixa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Plumerillo booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso de la Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ignacio Fernández had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the game, Jacobo Gonzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Ignacio Fernández sped through Bolivia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. Jacobo Gonzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Fernández, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Deunoro in the 93rd minute of play.
