Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Tunström in the 13th minute. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of the match. Per Tunström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Per Tunström came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Rönnöfors FF getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Rönnöfors FF's Torsten Åman was substituted for Arne Stor. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Olimpiu Mirciulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristian Sancho got free in front of the goal in the 56th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Magne Gunnarsson was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ivar Häll hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 65th minute. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson managed to reach the ball for a save. 69 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Per Tunström came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in 83 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Magne Gunnarsson guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. When Henry Fagerberg came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Rönnöfors FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Fagerberg couldn't finish the play. Henry Fagerberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henry Fagerberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 86th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Magne Gunnarsson was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. 94 minutes into the match, Henry Fagerberg notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 98 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Per Tunström came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Rönnöfors FF were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
