Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Teodosio Francesco kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Damazy Boruta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Mateo Leguizamo charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Leguizamo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 13th minute of the match Julian Abalos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Zorita skillfully saved the ball. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Damazy Boruta sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damazy Boruta. When Valentino Ferrant was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 17 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant got a free kick in the 18th minute. Petar Hubchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd minute Teodosio Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silver Play 2's Petar Hubchev was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ricardo Zorita in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 26 minutes into the match, Silver Play 2's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Tomás Lucila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Silver Play 2's Damazy Boruta. But to his dismay, Damazy Boruta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Silver Play 2's Teodosio Francesco got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Silver Play 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Hanni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damazy Boruta struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silver Play 2. In the 40th minute, Teodosio Francesco fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Damazy Boruta took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Lisandro Hanni in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Salvador's Jesus Carvallo. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damazy Boruta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Francesco in the 70th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Boruta, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Teodosio Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silver Play 2's Juan Tartalo was substituted for Cesar Baldovino. After 77 minutes of play, Silver Play 2's Teodosio Francesco made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! 81 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Tartalo came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Francesco in the 82nd minute of play. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Carrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Teodosio Francesco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Francesco, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Carrio came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silver Play 2 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
