Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Seco made the kick off and thus started the match. With an all-out effort, SC Braga's Joaquin Gayoso threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leal Antas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a free kick in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Caetano Coutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Coutinho came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Braga's Caetano Coutinho. But to his dismay, Caetano Coutinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 24thth minute of the game Maximiliano Escribano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Braga's Adelino Coelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cássio Osório fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. The supporters of Uruguay booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leal Antas to strike the kick off in the second half. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Coelho having to interfere. Caetano Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Uruguay booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 minutes of play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adelino Coelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Coutinho in the 60th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goalkeeper Adelino Coelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. A sloppy throw-in by Moisés Álvares in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, SC Braga's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Francisco Seco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fabrício Monteiro hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Uruguay's attentive Alberto Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Moisés Álvares made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. Moisés Álvares made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Uruguay players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
