Franco Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. Sebastian Villa hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Gürsel Aksel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Moises Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Gürsel Aksel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Franco Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Gürsel Aksel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gürsel Aksel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. In the 40th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gürsel Aksel took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 46 minutes into the match, Basmane Texas's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Franco Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gürsel Aksel to strike the kick off in the second half. Lou Lou made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gürsel Aksel immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Allikmäe in the 56th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gürsel Aksel went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürsel Aksel, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Basmane Texas made a substitution. Risto Luite replaced Borys Budarz. Basmane Texas's Jan-Joost Sielis was substituted for Ulvi Gencal. In the 71st minute, Gürsel Aksel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Basmane Texas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Gürsel Aksel might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gürsel Aksel ran back to his position shaking his head. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürsel Aksel in the 81st minute of play. After 83 minutes, Gürsel Aksel made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürsel Aksel, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Ivan Navarro made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sebastian Villa. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Basmane Texas fully deserved thier win.
