Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cosimo Laudadio took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Ciro Immobile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosimo Laudadio. SPALLETTE RETURNS's attentive Konrad De Winter managed to snatch the ball when Felix Garrido made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Silvestri. SPALLETTE RETURNS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosimo Laudadio got free with Thiago Pliego in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Augusto Bevilacqua was slow to take the kick. During this time SPALLETTE RETURNS's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Laudadio in the 32nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosimo Laudadio might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosimo Laudadio ran back to his position shaking his head. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Cosimo Laudadio came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Silvestri. SPALLETTE RETURNS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Marco Silvestri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A very nice done corner allowed Xavier Figueroa to score against Marco Silvestri in SPALLETTE RETURNS's goal. 0-3 after 43 minutes. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jose Manzanedo hit a great ball. In the 48th minute of the match, Cosimo Laudadio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Pliego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The SPALLETTE RETURNS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chile were winning 0-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Cosimo Laudadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Manzanedo to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Laudadio in the 54th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Laudadio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Cosimo Laudadio notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SPALLETTE RETURNS made a substitution. Amedeo Palmieri replaced Adriano Biagetti. SPALLETTE RETURNS's Fortunato Santone was substituted for Armando Izzo. In the 66th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Laudadio in the 70th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes SPALLETTE RETURNS got a freekick which was hit by Konrad De Winter. SPALLETTE RETURNS's Antonio Nero was substituted for Achille Tullio. Konrad De Winter hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosimo Laudadio in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Silvestri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the SPALLETTE RETURNS defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Silvestri. The SPALLETTE RETURNS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Silvestri should have stopped the shot. 95 minutes into the game, Cosimo Laudadio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chile walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
