Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 3rd minute of play forced Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper Mike Axisa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mike Axisa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baran Erozan during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's Baran Erozan got a free kick in the 6th minute. Mexico's attentive Facundo Cadaval managed to snatch the ball when Fabian Duca made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Macos Graciani hit a great ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Bolas in the 19th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edinho de Queirós during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Bolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Mike Axisa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 27th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Leszek Cupial sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Leszek Cupial got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Leszek Cupial's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Axisa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match Sliema Dragons FC got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baran Erozan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Baran Erozan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. After 61 played minutes Sliema Dragons FC got a freekick which was hit by 周斐俊. Mike Axisa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Bolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Mike Axisa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 70th minute. In the 75th minute, Selman Onkal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Mexico's Luca Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Mike Axisa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 81st minute Dejan Cassar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Cupial, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Sliema Dragons FC's Dejan Cassar. But to his dismay, Dejan Cassar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Leszek Cupial had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sliema Dragons FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
