Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Campos went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, Alican İçten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Echedey Lyon replaced Amat Mata. 69 minutes into the game, Rosario Moyer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flames FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. In the 69th match minute, Flames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosario Moyer to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Lopes's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Camille Trudeau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Seco to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Lopes in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alican İçten in the 89th minute of play. Alican İçten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tao Xi made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Francisco Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jakkapan Jomsak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Flames FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
