An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 15th minute of play forced FC juveMET's goalkeeper Lajos Vadász to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arda Turan got free with Dante Lacasa in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Lajos Vadász tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Şinasi Derem recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Şinasi Derem showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 35 minutes into the game, Şinasi Derem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luca Zorita in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lajos Vadász saved FC juveMET from getting behind. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şinasi Derem, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When Marcos Acuña fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC juveMET's protests and gave Marcos Acuña a yellow card for diving instead. Marcos Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şinasi Derem to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Lajos Vadász however easily saved by the left post. 64 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lajos Vadász, 3-1. The audience was convinced that Şinasi Derem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. FC juveMET's Cihat Canbek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lothar Reichel hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Stefan Kapinos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC juveMET had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
