Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Kisielka, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 37thth minute of the game Jan Kisielka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Jan Kisielka sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. In the 47th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Qu Yi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to A.C ALDO BONZI getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Qu Yi hit a great ball. Qu Yi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Kisielka in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Qu Yi scored 2-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Kisielka in the 73rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
