Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andreas Spets struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for -IOG- Instruments of God. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Ferrant during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benito Sanz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adrian Rosén. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Ekström in the 20th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Ekström in the 21st minute of the match. When Hugo Ferrant was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Börge Åkerman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. 龙夕兴 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Igor Hotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute of the match Axel Tasis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 龙夕兴 skillfully saved the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Börge Åkerman came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 32nd minute of play forced -IOG- Instruments of God's goalkeeper 龙夕兴 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Rubio during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, -IOG- Instruments of God's Dag Vennerkvist got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Axel Tasis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 龙夕兴 skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Börge Åkerman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When -IOG- Instruments of God's Börge Åkerman in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Börge Åkerman in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andreas Spets in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. If Otto Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Börge Åkerman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 龙夕兴 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 69th minute of the match Alan Moruga completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alan Moruga a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 73rd minute of play forced -IOG- Instruments of God's goalkeeper 龙夕兴 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börge Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Spets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
