Stuart Byman hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Seyit Bozbey's late challenge caught a USA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seyit Bozbey helped the player get up and apologised. Seyit Bozbey kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Velimir Popchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seyit Bozbey got free with Marco Day in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. VN Keleler's Velimir Popchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 13th minute of play forced VN Keleler's goalkeeper Velimir Popchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 minutes VN Keleler's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. If Doychin Konsulov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Velimir Popchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 27th minute of play. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Edward Mcdonald fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Velimir Popchev quite easily take care of the ball. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stuart Byman in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 33rd minute of play forced VN Keleler's goalkeeper Velimir Popchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Velimir Popchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by VN Keleler's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 53rdth minute of the game Stuart Byman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doychin Konsulov in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stuart Byman in the 58th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Velimir Popchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, USA's Velimir Popchev threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Monty Rogers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 64 minutes into the match, Stuart Byman notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. VN Keleler's Harris Zoolingen was substituted for Doychin Konsulov. 72 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Harris Zoolingen came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the USA defense, Harris Zoolingen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. The supporters of USA booed when VN Keleler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erkan Okan didn't get a good kick on the ball. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. In the 77th match minute, VN Keleler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erkan Okan to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Stuart Byman came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seyit Bozbey might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Seyit Bozbey ran back to his position shaking his head. Khalid Parry received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Velimir Popchev came out and tried to block the shot, but Khalid Parry slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 91st minute.
