Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Henriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the game, Maxim Tsigalko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Maxim Tsigalko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The supporters of Samurai booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andres Gergori hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Maxim Tsigalko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maxim Tsigalko in the 13th minute. Maxim Tsigalko took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 25th minute, Maxim Tsigalko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Navarro. The goal made the score 4-0. Lautaro Navarro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Allan Bivall. 29 minutes into the match, Allan Bivall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Allan Bivall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Allan Bivall was slow to take the kick. During this time Samurai's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Allan Bivall almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro did a great save. Maxim Tsigalko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Timmy Henriksson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Timmy Henriksson slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maxim Tsigalko. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Luca Espinar hit a great ball. Maxim Tsigalko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timmy Henriksson in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Henriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Tsigalko, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Samurai's Wu Qi was substituted for Maxim Tsigalko. Samurai's Åke Hamnberg was substituted for Hernán Grana. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Allan Bivall was slow to take the kick. During this time Samurai's players had a chance to rest. In the 70thth minute of the game Wu Qi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esbjörn Hultstrand in the 72nd minute of play. In the 81st minute, Esbjörn Hultstrand made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Wu Qi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Wu Qi took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wu Qi, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Luca Espinar's late challenge caught a Samurai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Espinar helped the player get up and apologised. 97 minutes into the match, Wu Qi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wu Qi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Samurai fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
