Janar Taelmas short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Rolando Noboa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Janar Taelma got free with Rolando Noboa in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janar Taelma in the 37th minute of play. Peru's attentive Joaquin Prats managed to snatch the ball when Anastasio Porfirio made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, Eliseo Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Janar Taelma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgo Lööper. Virgo Lööper dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Janar Taelma scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anastasio Porfirio's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anastasio Porfirio helped the player get up and apologised. Anastasio Porfirio kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Dariusz Brudnicki made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. In the 73rd match minute, FC Muuga United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dariusz Brudnicki to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Dariusz Brudnicki made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Virgo Lööper was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Rafael Gallo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Gallo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Virgo Lööper didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. In the 87th minute, Anthony Alvarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teet Vahing in the 90th minute of play. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Virgo Lööper made a huge save. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Anastasio Porfirio with Laur Pererahu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Virgo Lööper made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Rafael Gallo sent off a good shot on target. Virgo Lööper had great luck who in the 96thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rafael Gallo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post.
