The throw-in from Reinaldo Veríssimo in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. A sloppy throw-in by Reinaldo Veríssimo in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Luca Espinar. In the 9th minute of the match, Belchior Ribeiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lautaro Navarro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Josué Campelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josué Campelo ran back to his position shaking his head. Josué Campelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josué Campelo in the 13th minute. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Campelo in the 14th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Atabueira's Belchior Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Belchior Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 23rd minute Belchior Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josué Campelo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Josué Campelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Atabueira's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Belchior Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Atabueira's supporters rose to their feet, but Belchior Ribeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josué Campelo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Lautaro Navarro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 44 minutes into the game, Belchior Ribeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Atabueira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Belchior Ribeiro hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Campelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Campelo in the 59th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Campelo came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Atabueira's Hugon Bryk was substituted for Jaime Eiró. Alexandre Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Christian Sancho got a free kick in the 81st minute. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Azevedo in the 88th minute of the match. After 90 minutes, Sebastian Villa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the SC Atabueira players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sebastian Villa hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Azevedo came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
