Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinaldo Veríssimo got free with Benito Sanz in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Josué Campelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Atabueira's supporters rose to their feet, but Josué Campelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josué Campelo in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the match, SC Atabueira's Josué Campelo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th play minute Josué Campelo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 1-0. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Josué Campelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Atabueira's Josué Campelo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Atabueira's Josué Campelo. But to his dismay, Josué Campelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 39th play minutes Josué Campelo shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Josué Campelo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Jaime Eiró left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Atabueira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josué Campelo's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Eiró in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Josué Campelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Josué Campelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 minutes of play, SC Atabueira's Josué Campelo made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Atabueira's Alexandre Azevedo was substituted for Belchior Ribeiro. Josué Campelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Josué Campelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Campelo in the 93rd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Atabueira fully deserved thier win.
