Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute of the match, Waldemar Gierlach tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Gierlach in the 5th minute of play. A hard shot 7 in the game by Waldemar Gierlach from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. 10 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Gierlach came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Champions Iasi fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Champions Iasi's Waldemar Gierlach looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Waldemar Gierlach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Champions Iasi's Broderick Ceney. Broderick Ceney was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Broderick Ceney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Champions Iasi's Waldemar Gierlach was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Broderick Ceney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Gierlach in the 39th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Waldemar Gierlach sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 44thth minute of the game Waldemar Gierlach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Champions Iasi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alessandro Sarmento in the 45th minute. The corner ended in Alessandro Sarmento almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 48 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Champions Iasi the free kick. In the 48th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Waldemar Gierlach made the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Eusebiu Crăciunaș. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Gierlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Broderick Ceney was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldemar Gierlach in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74thth minute of the game Waldemar Gierlach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Broderick Ceney made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Waldemar Gierlach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Vlad Dobrotă hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the game, Waldemar Gierlach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Gierlach in the 91st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Champions Iasi were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alessandro Sarmento took the corner. Waldemar Gierlach made a great header on Champions Iasi's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 96th minute, Waldemar Gierlach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2.
