Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Jorge Figueiredo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jorge Figueiredo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Dante Lacasa 5 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vacib Bartu. Vacib Bartu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Jorge Figueiredo sent off a good shot on target. Vacib Bartu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 21st minute of the match. Ahmet Koralp Özsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürbüz Hendekli in the 34th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vacib Bartu. Vacib Bartu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 39 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gürbüz Hendekli. 44 minutes into the match, Los Tatangelos's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Vacib Bartu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vacib Bartu having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vacib Bartu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vacib Bartu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Los Tatangelos's goalkeeper Vacib Bartu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. After a rather tough play, Los Tatangelos's Jorge Figueiredo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Los Tatangelos's Vacib Bartu. Vacib Bartu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jorge Figueiredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Los Tatangelos's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vacib Bartu came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürbüz Hendekli in the 70th minute of the match. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Vacib Bartu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Vacib Bartu made a huge save. Los Tatangelos's Vacib Bartu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Los Tatangelos from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürbüz Hendekli in the 86th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vacib Bartu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 90th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
