Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Vacib Bartu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play forced Los Tatangelos's goalkeeper Vacib Bartu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes Los Tatangelos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Jorge Figueiredo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Jorge Figueiredo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Donzel in the 16th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Los Tatangelos's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vacib Bartu came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Los Tatangelos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 34th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 38th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vacib Bartu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürbüz Hendekli in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play forced Los Tatangelos's goalkeeper Vacib Bartu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vacib Bartu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Figueiredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jorge Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Tatangelos's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute Jorge Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vacib Bartu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Jorge Figueiredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vacib Bartu. That made the score 2-2 in the 65 minute of play. Los Tatangelos's Vacib Bartu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Los Tatangelos from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Tatangelos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Figueiredo in the 71st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Figueiredo in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. When Los Tatangelos's Jorge Figueiredo in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Vacib Bartu made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vacib Bartu having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Koralp Özsu in the 86th minute of play. Los Tatangelos's Vacib Bartu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Los Tatangelos from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Vacib Bartu however easily saved by the left post. Los Tatangelos succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
