That made the score 3-0 after 19 minutes of play. 25 minutes into the game, 袁风奕 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Fulgencio Senen sent off a good shot on target. Romon Oliver's late challenge caught a Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romon Oliver helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Romon Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th play minute 肖希谦 came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Demonde Jacobson. 6-0. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Bizi in the 41st minute of play. When Fulgencio Senen, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 45 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Demonde Jacobson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 袁风奕 in the 46th minute of play. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when 肖希谦 tried to sneak it across the goal line.

In the 53rd minute, Fulgencio Senen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 62 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Celso Bizi. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, 袁风奕 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. After 70 minutes of play, Independiente's Fulgencio Senen made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arso Kúrlev, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
