Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamil Baycan in the 10th minute of play. Kong Cheng Sha hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diguinho Oliveira saved BraveHeart Warriors from getting behind. A collision led to BraveHeart Warriors getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Kong Cheng Sha hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamil Baycan in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of BraveHeart Warriors booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diguinho Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Paraíba in the 39th minute of play. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diguinho Oliveira having to make a save. Kong Cheng Sha's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kong Cheng Sha helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Venezuela booed when BraveHeart Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kong Cheng Sha didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Kamil Baycan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Kamil Baycan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kamil Baycan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 62nd minute, Kamil Baycan made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 66 minutes into the match, BraveHeart Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Diguinho Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kamil Baycan in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diguinho Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With his leg Diguinho Oliveira managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Carlos Fernando Fantini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Thierry Henry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Thierry Henry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Fernando Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thierry Henry's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. BraveHeart Warriors's Thierry Henry got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Severino Paraíba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Kamil Baycan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Henry in the 97th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for BraveHeart Warriors.
