Baal Demon in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Black Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play forced LEGIA Bielany's goalkeeper Black Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Franciszek Dresik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Baal Demon sent off a good shot on target. Franciszek Dresik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Baal Demon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After 24 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Julio Vera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Franciszek Dresik. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baal Demon in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The supporters of LEGIA Bielany booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baal Demon in the 33rd minute of play. Black Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play forced LEGIA Bielany's goalkeeper Black Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Franciszek Dresik took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baal Demon in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, LEGIA Bielany's goalkeeper Black Boruc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. 57 minutes in the game, Cristian Sancho dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Franciszek Dresik fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LEGIA Bielany's protests and gave Franciszek Dresik a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, LEGIA Bielany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franciszek Dresik to maneuver through the defense. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Black Boruc in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Alfred Dynda managed to get in a good position for a shot. LEGIA Bielany's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Dynda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Black Boruc in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Black Boruc when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ecuador booed when LEGIA Bielany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pawel Mitus didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, LEGIA Bielany could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
