The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 14th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Desfachatados F.C.'s Esteve Pello did a great save. In the 32nd minute Benjamin Cambranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Benjamin Cambranes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 36 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Desfachatados F.C.'s Esteve Pello. Esteve Pello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Agustín Saelices was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After the first half Ecuador were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Esteve Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Esteve Pello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 59th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 62 minutes Desfachatados F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Esteve Pello quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Benjamin Cambranes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Benjamin Cambranes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes in the game, Luis Andino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Esteve Pello having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Esteve Pello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Desfachatados F.C.'s Esteve Pello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Desfachatados F.C. from getting a goal against them. After 81 minutes Desfachatados F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Esteve Pello quite easily take care of the ball. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Esteve Pello when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Esteve Pello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Zorita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Pello having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Desfachatados F.C..
