When Felix Montes fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Felix Montes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute Eray Zümer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pars Gazzali made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Eray Zümer sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eray Zümer got free with Julio Vera in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the game, Team Calamity SC's Ricardo Barea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Cristian Sancho scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pars Gazzali, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Team Calamity SC's Pars Gazzali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. The corner led Ecuador's Cristian Sancho to fire away a dangerous shot which Pars Gazzali despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Pars Gazzali. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şamil Hür in the 41st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eray Zümer in the 62nd minute of play. If Eray Zümer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarper Regaip kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Team Calamity SC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Team Calamity SC's Sarper Regaip pulled a muscle in his leg after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Zorita during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Team Calamity SC made a substitution. Cankut Han replaced Sarper Regaip. The supporters of Team Calamity SC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Team Calamity SC.
