KOCAELİSPOR's attentive Aykut Nadi managed to snatch the ball when Fabricio Milian made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. Oliver Can showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer Demirci in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match KOCAELİSPOR got a corner. La Gallardeta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zachary Bienienda ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, KOCAELİSPOR's Aykut Nadi got a free kick in the 15th minute. 20 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Alsvik came free, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ömer Demirci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Oliver Can tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ got control of the ball when Rafael Haimar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Amado Chayo sent off a good shot on target. Şemsettin Tuyuğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Alsvik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ got control of the ball when Rafael Haimar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in La Gallardeta's zone, Ömer Demirci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliver Can came out of the goal and Ömer Demirci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Teodoro Delfino got a free kick in the 46th minute. Zachary Bienienda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oliver Can. La Gallardeta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 48 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Delfino. In the 50th minute, Teodoro Delfino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 50th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Oliver Can, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell Alsvik to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, KOCAELİSPOR's Ömer Demirci got a free kick in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amado Chayo in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şemsettin Tuyuğ saved KOCAELİSPOR from getting behind. Ömer Demirci succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 61st playminute. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when KOCAELİSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Bâru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amado Chayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, KOCAELİSPOR's Fiori Britto got a free kick in the 78th minute. La Gallardeta made a substitution. Attilio Stefano replaced Amado Chayo. Fiori Britto hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in La Gallardeta's zone, Aşır Zabit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliver Can came out of the goal and Aşır Zabit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Oliver Can managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when KOCAELİSPOR's Aşır Zabit fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 87 minutes, Nikolay Podshivalov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Gallardeta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikolay Podshivalov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute of the match La Gallardeta got a corner. KOCAELİSPOR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abel Ponciano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Abel Ponciano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ did a great save. Aşır Zabit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oliver Can having to make a save. Oliver Can took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aşır Zabit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Oliver Can had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aşır Zabit. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KOCAELİSPOR walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
