Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the match, Dário Mesquita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dário Mesquita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Gernando Proença scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Proença in the 18th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Danone CC's Radu Podgoreanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. 25 minutes into the match, Gernando Proença notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 28 minutes of play, Danone CC's Radu Podgoreanu made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Dário Mesquita got free with Benito Sanz in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Dário Mesquita sent off a good shot on target. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dário Mesquita in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel McQuarrie, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute of the match, Gernando Proença tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 46th play minute Dário Mesquita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 7-0.

The wind increased when Dário Mesquita made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Mesquita in the 56th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Noboa's late challenge caught a Danone CC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Radu Podgoreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Danone CC's supporters rose to their feet, but Radu Podgoreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gernando Proença took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Dário Mesquita took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Mesquita in the 72nd minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Mesquita in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Gernando Proença ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danone CC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
