Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 37th minute, Rubim Jordão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Lage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 40th minute of the match. When Mexico's Alberto Tafalla in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 93 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristiano Lage made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2.
