Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Bianco, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Sabin Pânzaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Dinç Dede made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dinç Dede's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinç Dede in the 85th minute of the match. After 87 played minutes FC Aquile Azzurre got a freekick which was hit by Elia Pasin. The audience was convinced that Dinç Dede's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. The FC Aquile Azzurre fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when FC Aquile Azzurre's Dinç Dede looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Aquile Azzurre's attentive Augusto Graziani managed to snatch the ball when Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. In the 97th minute of the match Elia Pasin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. The FC Aquile Azzurre players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
