Max Limont dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. It was a well-played corner which Anders Stenström managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 33 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Max Limont was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Max Limont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mar Cheze in the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milagros Fraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mar Cheze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mar Cheze, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Peru were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulius Rožėnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mar Cheze in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hexo Utd's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Limont came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Hexo Utd getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gražvydas Drąsutis hit a great ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vytautas Baikštys in the 66th minute of the match. Max Limont made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 68th minute. In the 74th minute, Vytautas Baikštys ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 84 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Max Limont narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulius Rožėnas in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Hexo Utd booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luz Tejedor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. After a rather tough play, Peru's Luz Tejedor got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Max Limont showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
