Max Limont showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Luz Tejedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Moises Gayoso hit a great ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vytautas Baikštys, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Hexo Utd's goalkeeper Max Limont had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hexo Utd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Max Limont was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hexo Utd's goalkeeper Max Limont, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Max Limont narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Paulius Rožėnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Miglius Simonaitis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miglius Simonaitis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
