Sportivo Luan Toro's Robert Davison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Robert Davison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sportivo Luan Toro's Robert Davison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Sportivo Luan Toro got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Bento. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Robert Davison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 66th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Martins Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Moises Gayoso with Milagros Fraga as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Benjamin Sundin charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Sundin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Peru booed when Sportivo Luan Toro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Sundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sportivo Luan Toro's Robert Davison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 94th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Roland, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Justino Roland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
