Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessandro Del Piero in the 31st minute. Monty Rogers scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 毛岩鸿, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Monty Rogers took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 毛岩鸿. 毛岩鸿 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Zach Harrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 毛岩鸿 having to interfere. The supporters of USA booed when ≮王者归来≯LIVENTUS LEO™ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. 张镇南 didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 53rd match minute, ≮王者归来≯LIVENTUS LEO™ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 顾烽建 to maneuver through the defense. Cassius Byrne who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of 毛岩鸿 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but 毛岩鸿 made a huge save. USA were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after ≮王者归来≯LIVENTUS LEO™ FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. Monty Rogers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 毛岩鸿 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, USA's Sam Campbell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 毛岩鸿 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Inzaghi in the 79th minute of play.
