Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Gondor FC™'s Adalberto Ecija started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Muamer Fahrić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Muamer Fahrić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 4th minute of the match. Muamer Fahrić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Muamer Fahrić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mino Suarez struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gondor FC™. In the 17th minute, Mino Suarez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dante Lacasa, passed just outside the right post. Adalberto Ecija didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 20th minute. Gondor FC™'s supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 31st minute, Mino Suarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Ecija in the 34th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gondor FC™'s Nerkez Arriagada got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomas Rogne charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Rogne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, Gondor FC™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Rogne to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Gondor FC™'s zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muamer Fahrić came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee gave Gondor FC™ a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mino Suarez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Gondor FC™'s Mario Alberto Yepes was substituted for Thomas Rogne. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 56th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Luque to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saša Daničić, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 83rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muamer Fahrić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla lined in a short shot 3-3 behind a frustrated Muamer Fahrić. Mino Suarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 98 played minutes Gondor FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Javiero Zanetti. Mexico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
