StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Abelardo Monico got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th match minute, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Monico to maneuver through the defense. Teo Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. After 15 minutes StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 18th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teo Bernaldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With an all-out effort, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sergio Florian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 23rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Teo Bernaldo. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Bernaldo having to interfere. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play forced StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goalkeeper Teo Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Angel Paulin got a free kick in the 39th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Teo Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Teo Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute of the match. With a little luck, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Teo Bernaldo got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Monico in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teo Bernaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 62nd minute. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 66th play minute Felix Montenegro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Teo Bernaldo. 0-5. In the 69th minute, Abelardo Monico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelardo Monico's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angel Paulin took the corner. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Angel Paulin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Teo Bernaldo got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goalkeeper Teo Bernaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Abelardo Monico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. In the 86th minute, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luis Andino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Teo Bernaldo in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teo Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Monico in the 92nd minute of play. After some careless play in the StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teo Bernaldo. The StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teo Bernaldo should have stopped the shot.
