András Tóth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 3rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Chaime went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Arturo Christobal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Arturo Christobal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Luckas Baert sent off a good shot on target. Luckas Baert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without András Tóth having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Christobal came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Luckas Baert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Christobal, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. András Tóth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Christobal in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Chaime was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luckas Baert in the 72nd minute of play. András Tóth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Pastor Rexino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Pastor Rexino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arturo Christobal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. There was no doubt that StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 were the better team. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
