Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fausto Pinti got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damiano Battisti was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Pinti in the 19th minute of play. Damiano Battisti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 34 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damiano Battisti. Eurospeed Asti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Fortunato Borromeo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play. Daniel Zorita charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Zorita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 44th minute. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The supporters of Eurospeed Asti booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Eurospeed Asti from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fortunato Borromeo went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute, Fausto Pinti made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. It was a well-played corner which Grant Irø managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 82 minutes into the match, Eurospeed Asti's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Damiano Battisti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Damiano Battisti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Eurospeed Asti getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ettore Masciarelli hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damiano Battisti. Eurospeed Asti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damiano Battisti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ettore Masciarelli kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Eurospeed Asti succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
