The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 6th minute of play forced All Stars Gent's goalkeeper Eser Şemsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All Stars Gent's Eser Şemsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Esterilla Van Meenen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 1-0. Eser Şemsi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 17th minute Esterilla Van Meenen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eser Şemsi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, All Stars Gent's Jesucristo Van Meenen got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Jannes Gramet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eser Şemsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sam Standaers during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sam Standaers hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes All Stars Gent got a freekick which was hit by Sam Standaers.

Eser Şemsi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute of the match. With a little luck, All Stars Gent's Eser Şemsi got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Joaquin Prats hit a great ball. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind All Stars Gent's goalkeeper Eser Şemsi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, All Stars Gent's Eser Şemsi got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Brend Van Laeck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 75th minute of play forced All Stars Gent's goalkeeper Eser Şemsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillos short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Eser Şemsi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 77 minutes into the match, All Stars Gent's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Eser Şemsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Eser Şemsi in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 3-1 became the score in the 80th minute when Esterilla Van Meenen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind All Stars Gent's goalkeeper Eser Şemsi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 90th minute of play forced All Stars Gent's goalkeeper Eser Şemsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in All Stars Gent fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! Eser Şemsi had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Eliseo Mina's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Rafael Gallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for All Stars Gent.
