Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Lebas in the 11th minute. Moises Gayoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierluigi Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Gayoso ran back to his position shaking his head. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zhao Bing Cheng in the 16 minute of the game. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pierluigi Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Eliseo Mina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zhao Bing Cheng got a throw-in 26 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lluis Companys. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierluigi Buffon having to interfere. In the 30th minute, KaoS Futbol Club's Igor Lebas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Pierluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 34th minute of the match. KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of play. The KaoS Futbol Club fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when KaoS Futbol Club's Igor Lebas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pierluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 43rd minute of play.

Narciso Noe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Pierluigi Buffon made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 56th minute of play forced KaoS Futbol Club's goalkeeper Pierluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierluigi Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
