Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Dolar in the 3rd minute of the match. Leonardo Leoz kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Dale Dolar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Felix Luque made in the 12th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lautaro Mancebo. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Ugutz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Patricio Ugutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Ugutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 29th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Patricio Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Clóvis Vieira hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match, Alberto Tafalla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patricio Ugutz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 68th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Patricio Ugutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rdth minute of the game Jorge Carrascal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonardo Leoz hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Christian de Amorim was substituted for Tang Yang Le. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Gervasi in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute Christian de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Barcellos Mineiro FC's Jorge Carrascal in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz managed to reach the ball for a save. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Carrascal went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Barcellos Mineiro FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
