Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Alex Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Alex Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Leonides Rosio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post. In the 7th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9thth minute of the game Leonides Rosio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonides Rosio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 13th minute, Leonides Rosio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Leonides Rosio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute Leonides Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Rosio in the 19th minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's attentive Vasco Olarticoechea managed to snatch the ball when Alex Chicote made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. After 26 minutes, Prospero Mergildo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Lorenzo de Sarandi and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Prospero Mergildo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Leonides Rosio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Alex Chicote in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Prospero Mergildo. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Leonides Rosio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonides Rosio to make the kick off. Venezuela's Alex Chicote quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Prospero Mergildo, made in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 53rd minute Leonides Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Frank Teixeira was substituted for Elias Honrio. San Lorenzo de Sarandi made a substitution. Lorenzo Jerrold replaced Leonides Rosio. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's attentive Ryszard Luty managed to snatch the ball when Salvador Gisbert made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Jerrold in the 58th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lorenzo Jerrold. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Jerrold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Jerrold in the 64th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lester Serre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 76 minutes of play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Ivan Errando made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Jerrold in the 83rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes, Lorenzo Jerrold made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lester Serre. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-1.
