Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benno Meves, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Patrick Galvão notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Michael Weniger capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michael Weniger really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. In the 28th minute Michael Weniger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, West Staines Massive's Michael Weniger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. West Staines Massive's Patrick Galvão got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Patrick Galvão dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 6-0. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Rowell in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Helmuth Follmann from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Benito Sanz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Galvão got free with Benito Sanz in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Galvão in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 46 minutes into the game, Alexander Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave West Staines Massive the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Michael Weniger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrick Galvão to make the kick off. When Helmuth Follmann came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the West Staines Massive fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helmuth Follmann couldn't finish the play. Dan Rowell took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Benno Meves struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Staines Massive. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Galvão in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Weniger in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Galvão in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Patrick Galvão sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The West Staines Massive fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when West Staines Massive's Patrick Galvão looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Patrick Galvão hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Calvin Kuckhoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Tasis in the 75th minute. West Staines Massive's Benno Meves got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Weniger in the 81st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, Patrick Galvão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Michael Weniger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Rowell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90th play minutes Patrick Galvão shot 12-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Weniger in the 93rd minute of play. West Staines Massive walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
