Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Tibúrcio Carabajal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Todor Barakovski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ovidio Geleberto charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidio Geleberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, The Wolfpack™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Geleberto to maneuver through the defense. Tibúrcio Carabajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute of play. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tibúrcio Carabajal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The throw-in from Alex Chicote in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Wolfpack™'s Ovidio Geleberto. In the 35th minute, Todor Barakovski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Todor Barakovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Venezuela's attentive Alex Chicote managed to snatch the ball when Ovidio Geleberto made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Todor Barakovski. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todor Barakovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes of play, The Wolfpack™'s Todor Barakovski made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tibúrcio Carabajal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alfredo Orlin fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Wolfpack™'s protests and gave Alfredo Orlin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, The Wolfpack™'s Alfredo Orlin got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The Wolfpack™ made a substitution. Radu Siteavu replaced Alfredo Orlin. Alfredo Orlin kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The Wolfpack™'s Tibúrcio Carabajal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save The Wolfpack™ from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, Radu Siteavu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Ovidio Geleberto in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. The Wolfpack™'s Tibúrcio Carabajal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save The Wolfpack™ from getting a goal against them. Tibúrcio Carabajal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 85th minute. Ovidio Geleberto kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
