Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Xan Revillas made the kick off and thus started the match. CD Municipal's Sagrario Paniagua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 2nd minute of play. Sagrario Paniagua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sagrario Paniagua having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Sagrario Paniagua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimas Trapiella hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Rigueiro. Sagrario Paniagua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Orland Urria in the 19 minute of the game. In the 20th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sagrario Paniagua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 29 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. CD Municipal's Sagrario Paniagua tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sagrario Paniagua stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximiliano Escribano's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. When Maximiliano Escribano, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 34 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sagrario Paniagua was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 37 minutes, Cornelio Rigueiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Municipal and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cornelio Rigueiro kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 40th minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper Sagrario Paniagua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Bojorquez kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 46th minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper Sagrario Paniagua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xan Revillas in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Francisco Seco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sagrario Paniagua didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximiliano Escribano went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Cornelio Rigueiro hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Sagrario Paniagua was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 63 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sagrario Paniagua made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Alberto Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gisbert. Uruguay were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after CD Municipal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Cazalla took the corner. After taking down the ball on Uruguay's corner Francisco Seco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sagrario Paniagua quite easily take care of the ball. Marcelo Bojorquez charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Bojorquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Marcelo Bojorquez got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sagrario Paniagua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the CD Municipal defense, Maximiliano Escribano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sagrario Paniagua. The CD Municipal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sagrario Paniagua should have stopped the shot. Sagrario Paniagua came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. But to his dismay, Alberto Gisbert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Uruguay played a much better game than CD Municipal and deserved their victory. The CD Municipal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
