Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Sagrario Paniagua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sagrario Paniagua came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the CD Municipal defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sagrario Paniagua. The CD Municipal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sagrario Paniagua should have stopped the shot. After having played for 14 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of CD Municipal's Sagrario Paniagua. Sagrario Paniagua was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sagrario Paniagua was left in no man's land by his defense there! CD Municipal's Sagrario Paniagua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xan Revillas got free with Julio Vera in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sagrario Paniagua. Sagrario Paniagua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 37th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sagrario Paniagua was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 41st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. CD Municipal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Cristian Sancho got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-8. 42 minutes into the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper Sagrario Paniagua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The CD Municipal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-8.

When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Kemen Zalon hit a great ball. Sagrario Paniagua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Sagrario Paniagua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sagrario Paniagua having to interfere. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Sagrario Paniagua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Sagrario Paniagua was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Marcelo Bojorquez's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Bojorquez helped the player get up and apologised. Sagrario Paniagua made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Sagrario Paniagua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sagrario Paniagua was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 78 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Sagrario Paniagua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Xan Revillas came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sagrario Paniagua was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-10. Sagrario Paniagua made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sagrario Paniagua. That made the score 0-11 in the 87 minute of play. Sagrario Paniagua was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 92 minute of play. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
