Enrique Enoch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, union española s.a.'s goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Enrique Enoch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Enoch came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Adelino Nordon made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by union española s.a.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. 32 minutes in the game Adelino Nordon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cecilio Magalhaes. 43 minutes into the game, Adelino Nordon threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Enrique Enoch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Enoch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The union española s.a. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stig Malmgren was the one to do the kick off. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Malmgren in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Peru's Milagros Fraga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Enoch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enrique Enoch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Peru's Alonso Berganza got a free kick in the 75th minute. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Enoch having to interfere. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Stig Malmgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Stig Malmgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
