Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Villafane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Mora CAT's Inge Villafane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 7th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Ronaldinho Gaucho sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Policarpio in the 13th minute of the match. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after La Mora CAT's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Inge Villafane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Policarpio in the 22nd minute of play. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Inge Villafane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Du Jian Chen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Mora CAT's Jose Policarpio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Inge Villafane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Ronaldinho Gaucho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Policarpio in the 54th minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Du Jian Chen's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Du Jian Chen sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Du Jian Chen in the 62nd minute of the match. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by La Mora CAT's Du Jian Chen. But to his dismay, Du Jian Chen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. La Mora CAT made a substitution. Nabucodonosor Rallo replaced Etor Benito. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Policarpio in the 66th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inge Villafane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Inge Villafane made a huge save. After 86 minutes La Mora CAT's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Mora CAT's Inge Villafane did a great save. In the 88th minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inge Villafane was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. When Agustín Saelices fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Agustín Saelices a yellow card for diving instead. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The La Mora CAT players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
