After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Monty Rogers managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Monty Rogers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Urbez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Raphael Moore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Fábio Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Monty Rogers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 31st minute, Monty Rogers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eleuterio Urbez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Eleuterio Urbez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 38th minute of the match. USA were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after T€Tra brick FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. In the 43rd minute T€Tra brick FC were awarded a corner. Fermín Verdu went to the cornerflag to take it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jacob May's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eleuterio Urbez firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Luís Fábio Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Luís Fábio Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Henric Monta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. T€Tra brick FC made a substitution. Martín Cardetti replaced Luís Fábio Cunha. Eleuterio Urbez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Mcdonald's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 76th match minute, T€Tra brick FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Mouricio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to T€Tra brick FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Rogelio Mouricio hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, Diego Bradley threw the ball into play from the sideline. T€Tra brick FC's Fermín Verdu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 80th minute Martín Cardetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Martín Cardetti came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Palermo in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. T€Tra brick FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fermín Verdu in the 82nd minute. The corner led T€Tra brick FC's Fermín Verdu to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Martín Cardetti took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. USA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
