Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leo Ström took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Åhus Absolut F.C getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ingvar Mellin hit a great ball. Åhus Absolut F.C's Jan-Åke Juhlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Juhlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åhus Absolut F.C's attentive Ingvar Mellin managed to snatch the ball when Primitivo Andino made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. Honu Ng who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 25thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åhus Absolut F.C's Jan-Åke Juhlin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 26th minute of play forced Åhus Absolut F.C's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Juhlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Åke Juhlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes Åhus Absolut F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 39th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 minutes, Veselin Sveshtarov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åhus Absolut F.C and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Veselin Sveshtarov kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lars Julin in the 43 minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Leo Ström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Primitivo Andino in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Åhus Absolut F.C's Ege Yazargil. In the 62nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Åhus Absolut F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Åhus Absolut F.C made a substitution. King Skott replaced Honu Ng. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Jan-Åke Juhlin in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nils Majman charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils Majman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nils Majman kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Felix Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Åke Juhlin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Agustín Saelices's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Åke Juhlin was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 89th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jan-Åke Juhlin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jan-Åke Juhlin could save by the left post. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Jan-Åke Juhlin made a huge save. 93 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Juhlin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
