Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 5th minute of play forced Tabalongo AFC's goalkeeper Nemesio De la Sotta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nemesio De la Sotta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Puig in the 10th minute of the match. Ubaldo Hormeño charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubaldo Hormeño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nemesio De la Sotta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Eber Larralde notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Eber Larralde sent off a good shot on target. Nemesio De la Sotta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Puig went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eber Larralde in the 43rd minute of play. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Villacosta in the 64th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Lautaro Puig reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nemesio De la Sotta. The goal made the score 3-2. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eber Larralde in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Eliseo Noboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute Eber Larralde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Rouse hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Nemesio De la Sotta made a huge save. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Villacosta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Tabalongo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Nemesio De la Sotta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tabalongo AFC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eber Larralde took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Tabalongo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Soffia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Tabalongo AFC's Nemesio De la Sotta got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tabalongo AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Costa Rica for a fine match.
