Vili Aćimović showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ciprian Paveliuc got a throw-in 11 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ryan Giggs. Vili Aćimović succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Emanuel Ocampo's late challenge caught a NK AvtoBUM Kočevje's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Ocampo helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Honduras:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of NK AvtoBUM Kočevje:s goal. 17 minutes into the game, Burns Willding cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vili Aćimović, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Burns Willding recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when Ciprian Paveliuc made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Burns Willding in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Burns Willding came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Vili Aćimović reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Navarro. The goal made the score 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as NK AvtoBUM Kočevje's Ken Sodja slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 5-0 after 37 minutes of play. Vili Aćimović had several of the Honduras's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Lautaro Navarro as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vili Aćimović was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Ryan Giggs came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Janis Pulver was slow to take the kick. During this time NK AvtoBUM Kočevje's players had a chance to rest. NK AvtoBUM Kočevje's Janis Pulver was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vili Aćimović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jákó Myroforidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vili Aćimović in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo got a free kick in the 59th minute. NK AvtoBUM Kočevje's Janis Pulver got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Ken Sodja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NK AvtoBUM Kočevje fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burns Willding, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute of the match NK AvtoBUM Kočevje got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Janis Pulver ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Burns Willding recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jákó Myroforidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute Ken Sodja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Ryan Giggs in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. In the 87thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK AvtoBUM Kočevje's Jákó Myroforidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Ken Sodja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vili Aćimović, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burns Willding in the 94th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
